George W. Higgins - President

George Higgins is a public affairs and client services professional with over a decade of experience dealing with the media, diverse stakeholders, government officials and key decision makers on behalf of his clients.

George holds a degree in Political Science from Carleton University, and a Graduate Certificate in Public Relations Management from Royal Roads University. George has worked on a great number of projects, including with Mayor Sullivan of Vancouver, overseeing community outreach for organizations such as the White Rock Business Improvement Association, political operations and caucus management and advocating on behalf of the Vancouver Taxi industry.

George is an active volunteer, sitting on various boards for both political and community service associations. He is the Chair of the Camp Byng Breakfast, a committee of Scouts Canada (Pacific Coast Council) that raises in excess of $30,000 annually to send youth to camp every summer. George also donates his time to work with various political groups to help ensure that all levels of government have the best possible leadership.

 

Allan Baedak - VP Operations

Allan’s background in the music industry is put to good use ensuring Identity Management and its client's are equipped with the latest in communications technology and productivity tools.  Detail oriented, Allan ensures that all technical aspects of an event or project go off without a hitch.
 
Allan’s love of politics has kept him actively involved in political campaigns in the lower mainland.  Using his specialized toolset, Allan has been responsible for getting digital messaging out to thousands of people. 

Allan's involvement in projects is front to back as he is responsible for project management, logistics and technology support. Whether an email campaign, video messaging or event coordination, Allan consistently performs beyond expectations.

In his spare time, Allan is a member of the Semiahmoo Rotary Club, sitting on the Fundraising Committee, which raises money in support of local projects including the Peace Arch Hospital & Community Foundation and the Rotary Field House.  Allan also likes to attend cultural and live music events.


 

Jacob Benaroch - Creative Director

Jacob is responsible for all visual identity projects from creation through the production process. He also is responsible for conducting key development meetings during the early development process of a project.

Prior to joining Identity Management Jacob studied at the Jerusalem School of Art in Israel. After teaching fine art for a number of years he moved to Paris to work at France’s leading design studio – Jean Colin. While there his work for clients such as Chanel, French Telcom and Peugot, in the areas of packaging, corporate identity and industrial design won him several international awards.

He moved to Vancouver in 1983 and continued his successful career designing for major national and international clients. Jacob lists among his many awards, a Golden Ink Award, given by the International Printing Congress; the “Oscar” of the graphic design and printing industries. Jacob is fluent in English, French, Spanish, Italian, Hebrew and dialects of Arabic.

 

Steve Simpson - Founder & Chief Strategist (Emeritus)

For more than two decades Steve has provided his experience as senior strategist to Identity Management clients focusing on the areas of strategic planning; marketing and corporate communications planning and execution; corporate identity programs; public affairs and advertising projects.

Prior to forming Identity Management Inc. Steve was Senior Vice-President, Creative Services at FCB/Ronalds Reynolds Ltd. FCB is one of Canada's largest advertising agencies and Canadian subsidiary of Foote, Cone & Belding, one of the worlds largest advertising agencies.

He and his team created award-winning advertising for clients such as Toyota, Nike, Air Canada, Brights Wines and the Canadian Government of Tourism.

Recently Steve accepted an appointment of the Canadian government to serve as a Commissioner of the Canadian Radio, Television & Telecommunications Commission. As a result of this 5-year appointment Steve has taken a leave of absence from his day-to-day activities with the company.
